🛡️ What Is the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)?

The IFHP is a temporary federal program that provides essential healthcare—including limited dental coverage—to eligible refugees, refugee claimants, and protected persons in Canada who do not yet have provincial health insurance (like OHIP).

Administered by Medavie Blue Cross, this program covers a defined list of emergency and medically necessary dental treatments.
